@MichiganTroutMan There are plenty of brooks to go around down here, you just got to find em. I know of several streams with class brooks in em. You just got to be ambitious.

what are some good early june flys?

@BuddyWackIt369 By early June there are a range of hatches in full swing. Mayflies in your arsenal should include sulphurs, hendricksons, gray & brown drakes. Also the stone-flies begin to hatch now = little yellows and big browns. Caddis should include the american grannom and the little green caddis, and small sedges. Keep a range of elk hair caddis hand. I like the rhycophilla and hydropsyche larva as well. You can see some of these on my blog at wifly.wordpress

that was great, i go tothe fox as whell.that is where i landed the biggest brook in my life.late september is the best

Glad you enjoyed. Not the Fox River though although that is also a great fishery and I highly recommend trying. This is further east...
