@marcnisam Great Advice, Thank you!
I've actually done this same road with 2 rental Ninjas, didn't find anything so exciting in Phayao so raced up the road to Chiang Rai for the night instead. That hill is spectacular though isn't it... hard to find good quality asphalt combined with corners like this in the north.

My mistake, just in from fours days playing from Nan to Prayao,
Your right Marnisam - the D-Trackers were faster on this road.
No worries though, we couldn't keep up on the 1148; only managing to keep it a steady 110 to 120 on those wonderful sweepers. Still had fun though, and happily didn't have to stop on that bit to let Er6n and Er6f, riding with us, catch up.
Freaking great roads!!!!!!!!!

How do you think the VFR and Ninja compare? Value for money the Ninja is definitely worth it for a brand new bike in Thailand, but 2nd hand VFRs are around the same price. I've never ridden them side by side like this, I guess you were on the Ninja? How did it fare?

Hiya Bob,
In most of the world the Honda VFR wins hands down no contest. It's simply a better bike.
BUT, if you're talking about THAILAND you have to consider that there are NO Honda Big Bike dealers in this country. All parts must be imported. Finding mechanics who know how to service and repair a VFR in Thailand is NOT easy...
So, with all of that in mind, for THAILAND, the locally manufactured Kawasaki Ninja 650R represents unbeatable value and convenience.

Could the guy at 3:05 cut the corner any closer?! Sheesh about gave me a heart attack and I wasn't even riding.

@Ramakenzana
Hmmm, that's odd, the corner at 3:05 doesn't seem much different from any other corner to me... When there's an oncoming car we generally do tend to move to the far part of the lane as a lot of Thai drivers "straighten" the road by cutting the corners. Ride On!
