  • I am a descendant of Miami people, Miami through my dad's side in Ft. Wayne, his mom, McMacken and then well my mom is a Buchanan so well, we are maybe related that way too tho my Buchanan relatives always liked to talk about Scotland...I miss Indiana, great interview.   • From a fellow skin in the midwest - this is one group in the midwest that is who they are - read their history - Federal Government turned their back on them - but they never forgot who they are - Miami in Indiana - they still have their community, governance, language, culture, history - what criteria according to BIA have they not met? This is one group that deserves recognition.
