@Lesolan No, they are not. Sexism is discrimination based on sex, but this is not discrimination, it is differentiation. Discrimination is treating groups differently in ways that are unfair, differentiation is fair. You wouldn't call a man a woman and a woman a man for example, you have different words for them. But that is not discrimination.

Technically, yes, they are. They may be in response to other sexist actions, but yes, they are indeed sexist. Which is why most Sea Scout ships are co-ed.
