Never get tired of hearing this song; steve perry is the voice of journey - he had the charisma and star quality, even tho the others were excellent musicians. Steve Perry, you'll always be No. 1. ----a fan forever!

I remember hearing this song as a child and growing up listening to Journey... even years after that old cassette tape still worked... It had this, Faithfully and some other songs on it... This is such a beautiful song, though there's times it's made me want to cry too... I miss those days.... I miss when Steve Perry was the lead vocalist for Journey. Steve Auger was good, Arnel... well he's good but to me his voice doesn't suit the band. But to each their own, if anyone disagrees, that's fine..

@wcrew97, You say "Perry Poser" I say you are unhappy to hear that Steve Perry is writting music and his "Journey is Not over" Some fans of Journey are in FEAR that somehow Steve Perry is going to take away the Journey concerts or something. Im not sure why they feel Threatend by him, Steve Perry is now a 62 year old Legend. If he releases a new Cd and performs for his fans in the year, that is one of many off my bucket list a true dream come true. But I am also a realist anything is possible

@wcrew97, I enjoy all kinds of music, my favorites are endless, but my all time singers will always be Steve Perry. Have you ever seen Steve Perry sing, Perform with Neal Schon? ...They were magical. Arnel is a strong vocal singer, NOT A tenor like Steve Perry,he sings in one key all the time, his voice is tiring and its obvious in the shows. He is a good vocalist, but does not have the vocal capabilities of Steve Perry. You say Steve Perry lost his ability to sing, you are wrong and will see

Easy answer, Journey made mistakes, Steve Perry made mistakes, times has healed most of their issues, but the Fans always want the band to be together. You nor I will EVER change to Minds of Millions of Fans, Loyal to Steve Perry with Journey. They shared special music, that they created decades ago and are still riding on it... good for them I say, but Steve Perry will be praised for Everybit of it, he created

@wcrew97, I own every single Album by Journey and Steve Perry. I will say that no matter how many Escape songs, Journey pays homage to Steve Perry each and every night!! That is the message, we all get from their concerts, with much due respect, but the message is loud and clear. Neal, himself talks about it...Besides, disrespecting a man(Steve Perry) that helped put Journey into Fame does deserve it!!

You and I differ in many issues, but we BOTH are fans of the music...makes sense, but lets see how we differ. I grew up in the Era, when the music was music. True talent, singing, writting songs and being original. Unlike most of the music of today... have you seen a lady gaga concert...she sings, she writes, she plays piano, but her stage show is Ridiculous!! Im not from this era of music.
