@rapesomeface The Kangoo Jumps take up 80% of the impact so the knee does not need to bend at impact. If your legs and body stay tight like a pogo stick you get a better rebound. @rapesomeface Did I ever say these were magical shoes? When it comes to exercise, not "one size fits all". The important thing is that people get up and MOVE. And for the record, I never noticed them jumping with straight legs in the video. Try a class before you try to debate with me or anyone else.
@hotpinkmarker just look at them – jumping up and down with straight legs? you wouldn't do that barefoot because barefoot you can feel that you're going to fuck up all your joints. do you seriously think those shoes take up all the pressure? it's probably not even 50% of the impact those shoes are able to absorb… the impact doesnt magically disappear!

@hotpinkmarker not strengthening your joints might actually be one of the reasons why so many runners get hurt these days. do some research, theres not one study showing that cushioned shoes (and the kangoo is a pretty extreme example for one) actually prevent injuries…

hi, does it just take time to be able to do a workout like this?
I have a pair of kangoos and I am in very good shape, but after just two minutes into the workout, I am totally pooped!
I can"t imagine doing this for a whole 9 minutes!
The people on stage make it look so easy.
