i've very interested in buying a few imported ranchu's, as i know how difficult it is to find decent breeds in pet shops. I managed to find a nice ranchu, still as yet no sign of a wen =/ has good spinal curve though.... Just wondering what success you've had with importing? i worry about the fish being in the bag for a while....

Wow nice Ranchus, can you provide filtration and food that you feed? Are those crush coral substrate?
Torch3388 3 years ago
Thanks. I'm using Magnum HOT filters (2), a whisper 60 and a bakpak protein skimmer to help remove a lot of the trash from the water. I feed a variety of sinking foods including Progold, Hikari and Tung Hoi floating ranchu pellets. Yes, it's crushed coral substrate.
