Mario and Luigi take a ride down an elevator to retrieve Princess Daisy, but unfortunately a group of Goombas are taking the same ride..

The beginning of this movie may have been boring, but I think once Mario and Luigi start wearing their signature costumes it becomes more interesting. At least the movie starts to feel more like a movie based on the Mario Bros.

It's funny cos I read ages ago that the actor who played Mario didn't realise they were the same Mario and Luigi from the games because the plot and feel of it was so different haha xD
