most hair colors work, i have black hair
just no red though LOL check if the color works, cuz i have super dark black hair but i was able to get brown hair highlights last year and they're pretty much still there :3

You need to bleach your hair if you want to have really blond hair.. :)

@ARLR15 how long did u keep it in? and yah it will do tht :-/ if you get frustrated u can go to a salon or yah do what they said and do it gradually :) also keep it in for longer than it says in the box, and also u might wanna put a shower cap on.. hehe

@ARLR15 yes bc if you look on the side box you can see how different shades achieve tht color (what your results will be like )
so go to a big lots and find a blonde shade(to save money bc you may need to do this a few times) and use it bc more than likely itll only make it more light brown
and make sure you deep condition your hair once a week so it stays looking good (:
if it gets too blonde pick the original shade you wanted and dye it that color so its perfect
