Thank you. Last month I was the second time in NZ and I had a great time. It's great for walking.

  • where are the rainforests in new zealand

  • The most part of the rainforest you will find at the west coast of the South Island.

  • I thought NZ was a cold country. Why do they have tropical rainforests? Anyway, I really enjoy this video. I love the sound of the rain. Is the rain warm?

First of all - thank you for watching my video. It's a subtropical - temperate rainforest. Not hot and for example the tree ferns (Cyathea australis) could also exist by light snow. The heavy rain was rather cold or better say "temperate".

  • new zealands forest and mountains are probably what i miss most about my home country

  • I wanna sleep there on that bridge

  • nice video and nice music. the beauty of the rainforest is mesmerizing.

  • Beautiful photography, vegetation and music ( Enya & Lord of the Rings ). It reflects my memories of a total span of years as a part of my lifetime in or near NZ rainforests.

  • Everywhere. There are 300 islands in NZ but the three main islands (North, South and the smaller Stewart) used to be covered in rainforest and swamps until the British arrived and destroyed everything. You'll still find some beautiful tracks in Northland, the Coromandel, the Bay of Plenty, the West Coast of Auckland and the Whanganui-Taranaki region (in the North Island) and for the South Island, head to the West Coast, the Marlbourough Sounds and the Abel Tasman park.

  • thank you, when i visit new zealand i will surely venture into these mystical forests
