1911 Part 1: How to recognize a 1911 handgun

Often, I get asked what makes a 1911, a 1911 after an individual sees how many manufacturers make different models, sizes and features for the 1911. This video will point out the features that distinguish a 1911 from other handguns.
This video is more centered on the external features of the 1911 and while I know that the series 80s have a fourth safety (the firing pin block) I will refrain from covering that until another video.

I believe single action means the hammer must be manually cocked for the first round.Double action is cocked by the trigger as well as manually.Small point maybe but important if you're not familiar with it. Great vid too.Keep it up
