i need help. i got this actual floor plan for my future house and i've change it to dxf. But when i tried to import the file to sketchup 7.1 it doesn't open. Before i tried with sketchup pro 8 and also couldn't import the dxf. please help

In some of my models, I import some floor planning photos into SketchUp. I also import photos for Photo Match into SketchUp.

I am having trouble importing the image. Do you need sketchup 8 do do this? or can you use sketchup pro 7?

@habboretroful to export to CAD, yes you need Pro. To export images (e.g. JPEG), you can use the free version.

@themadmallard... I had the same problem. To make it like his, make sure to explode the image right after it is imported.

at about 8:00, when making the wall, your extrusion still has the image on its faces. Mine doesn't. I can't figure out why. Its like its a new object. Thoughts?
