  • Bono gave a speech at this conference. does anyone have a copy of it to post? the transcript is in Bill Flanagan's U2 At The End Of The World, but i'd love to see the clip...

  • Having spent far too much of my time scouring Youtube for U2 videos, I find myslef drawn back to this version of One. I thought the best version was the Achtung Baby recording, and it still is. But, a close second is this version. Why? Bono's delivery in a sonically challenged, guest star single song set is amazing. When he sings, you can see the veins on his neck stand out, you can feel the spleen and bile in his throat. One of the few times in his whole career on video where you see it all.

  • Amazing version of this hymn.

Saw it live on TV and never forgot it!

    Thanks for posting!

  • und wir waren live dabei ....it was fantastic!!

  • I knew this rendition from the U2 bootleg "Jesus was a cool guy". Didn't expect the video was to be found at Youtube. Great! I think this is the best version of "One" I know of. I just LOVE what Shankar's has added to this version.

    Just brilliant...
