End of An Era: The Final Film

Yes, it is the End of another Era.

July 21st 1997 and no one had heard of JK Rowling, one decade later the whole world waited expectantly for the release of the final book and The End. Three years later and we've sent planes to Haiti, we've had so many more Cons, we have a Theme Park, we're battling real life Horcruxes, we have so many more wizard rock albums, and we're still filled with the magic. So, tear up as you watch the last film but know that through the series, the movies, the wrock, the podcats, the sites, the youtube videos, and the magic, we will always be able to return to our beloved Hogwarts.

movie saga, it's a legacy. Though any new additions to the story might be over, I believe the tale as a whole will live on. The great thing about HP is that even though you may know what happens or how it ends, that doesn't stop the excitement of picking up one of the books or popping in a movie. Plus, keep in mind, we have whole new generations coming in that we get to introduce to this legendary story. So, the books may be over. The movies may be done.

I just want to say how lucky I feel to have been a part of the very first generation of Harry Potter. It is truly a series unlike any other. I have grown up with HP, but unlike others, didn't get REALLY into it until about a year ago (mainly due to a minor stint in which I was a Twi-Hard-don't worry, I've gotten over that lol). Fortunately I was able to attend the midnight showing of the last HP, and it was the most fun I've ever had in a movie theater! Harry Potter is more than a book or
