@yukizrox 136 in candlepin is actually a really good score. Anything over 100 is good. 130 is really good. 150 and up is exceptional. I bowl twice a week in leagues all year round, and I'm lucky if have one or two 150 strings a year.

Okay I'm a bowler. I'm not sure how candlepin bowling works, but a 136 game in bowling is crap :P Don't flame me, I'm just not sure how candlepin bowling works. And how the difference is so huge ._.

Lol, I went bowling today, but when I arrived to the place I saw this thin pins and freaked out! I had never seen something like that, I was expecting to play normal bowling, but I have only one month left to here and glad I had a different experience living in Massachussets, we don´t have that kind of bowling in Mexico. By the way is very hard :P

Nice game there, especially the 8th frame shot! I want more candlepin videos! I live in Florida :(

Didn't know that center had the last version and the fastest version of the Bowl-Mor candlepin machine the model D. Interesting that some houses in Massachusetts have them, I thought we all had the slower older model C like we have in Agawam, Massachusetts.

Love your vids! Also try to add a little curve on the ball, u'll get more pins down!
I have to know, Wolf. Since there is no candlepin in Oklahoma, how different is your approach and overall style when throwing a 3lb ball in candlepin to up to 16lb for 10-pin?

Not much different, I take 4 steps for both Candlepin and Ten Pin, but my backswing is much higher when throwing a Candlepin bowling ball.

Hey, im just curious. I'm an 82-30 pin setter mechanic my self, so I have quite a bit of knowledge about lane set up, etc. It looks like this was an old bowling center that was then filled with candle pin machines? Just curious, i didn't think a full on bowling lane was used for candle pin, i thought it would be somewhat similar to 9-pin bowling.

This center has been Candlepin from day 1, and is actually one of the oldest centers still going strong. :)
