sorry for the late reply.
Mostly from old journals, textbooks and relics. I have some US Navy computing books from the 40s and 50s. The Trautonium was a big inspiration and Metasonix showed that slid state CVs could be integrated.
But, I guess the circuits were designed by me... However, they resemble circuits in many early computer ramp generators, oscilloscope sweeps, etc.
Try looking for the "Cruft Labs" book on tubes. It was made by Harvard in WWII for the navy. Good stuff there.
