Arctic Fox Run Cycle

SORRY FOR THE SKIPPING. ):

I made this animation while at the SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) Summer Seminar program. I took animation class, and this was my project. We had only five days to do it, so it isn't perfect, but I'm happy with it.

I used photographs of a dog run cycle and videos of Arctic foxes running as references to make this. I found that the fox's head and tail moved more than the dog's, which stayed in place most of the time.

I used seven slides to complete the cycle and put it on a loop, then made about 20 or so slides for the background, then combined the two layers of animation on Flipbook (an animation program).

The music, called "Up Is Down", is from the Pirates of the Caribbean 3 Soundtrack by Hans Zimmer. I cut out the two parts of the song that I wanted and synced them with the video on Adobe Premier.

This is my first run cycle, so it's not the best, but... I hope you enjoy it anyway! c:
