Eric Pickles seems a reasonable man for a Tory. However, so long as the Tories keep us tied to the criminal, liar and traitor led European Union they will never get my vote.

You can't use First past the post figures to compare the two systems because more people would vote and they'd vote differently. More people voting and less people voting for second best as their first option. Very few people vote for what they want in FPTP elections if they vote at all. I would suggest that is one of the reasons we have our current comedy front bench. would you like a wafer thin mint?
