VENTURE CAPITALISTS OF THE MIDDLE AGES

Through efforts that were made to find a new trade route to India, the idea of exploration to the tip of Africa was inked. A new passage would circumvent the high fees that merchants had to pay to travel through foreign lands, in their journey to the east.

Traders were disillusioned with the fact that they were prisoners to the gatekeeper's toll. They viewed these third parties as racketeers and opportunists who had pushed their horses too far.
