This has already happened in many rural communities around Australia as farmers give up the growing of livestock. banning live export will only lead to an overpopulation of sheep and cattle in Australia, you might be saving them from becoming food for people poorer countries such as Indonesia and Turkey but hundreds of thousands will be shot by their farmers because otherwise they would starve to death in overgrazed land. Right now in Northern Australia hundreds are being shot everyday causing not only large phycological pain to farmers but also financial because live export isn't being resumed fast enough
