  • *I know Hip-Hop, I know Jazz, Classical, Opera, Country, Blues, Rock & Roll, Salsa. I can say: *This 11-year-old girl has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard*

  • She has helped to make music MUSIC once again. Glad there are so many who appreciate something really decent.

  • Jackie is nobody's fool and neither are her parents. She's one of the sharpest people I've ever seen on a stage; I have often said that, even if she couldn't sing a note, Jackie Evancho was going to make her mark in this life. She learns at lightning speed and is interested in positively EVERYTHING going on around her. By now she could give lessons in stagecraft alone. Jackie is a phenomenon in MORE than one way, folks. She's like a force of nature.

    JACKIE IS FANTABULOSA!

  • Well it looks like the pessemists are comming out of the woodwork. Some people have the worst outlook of life and can't seem to see the good part of it. I predict that Jackie will prove the good part of life, not only for herself, but for all the rest of us that appreciate her growing talent that we will enjoy for years to come.

  • @koppadasao It's true; we Americans tend to eat our young but more in the world of pop celebrity. Some arts are a bit "off the beaten path" for pop media (jazz, ballet, symphonic orchestra, etc.). Stars in these genres tend to escape the microcosm and glitter of the world which you paint. Probably because stories about these stars don't "move the media" as much as the world of pop/rap/Hollywood. For all of her fame, I find that many have never heard of her.

  • @koppadasao Well, aren't you just a ray of sunshine?! Concern is one thing but cynicism and despair seem to be dominant themes here. Perhaps, you ought to just enjoy what is now and save the despair for your therapist

  • Only time can tell what will happen to Jackie in the future. For now, I am just going to enjoy her wonderful gifted talents for as long as she allows me on this beautiful journey with her. Thanks Jackie!!!!

  • @prometheus0814 After you....

  • @koppadasao You really have a pathetic outlook on life don't you? Why not dig a hole and climb into it lol?

  • @niggleodeon All of these children had loving parents, and it still went bad for them, or at least not so great. Maybe Jackie is in a different genre of arts, but it is still the same limelight that she's under, and not every child survives that.

As for Katherine Jenkins, she's European not American. Europeans have a different culture when it comes to child stars. If Jackie was European she would most likely be able to continue singing forever, but she is, unfortunately, American.
