I am THRILLED to see her doing better!
I know the quality is LOUSY but picking up the camera was spur-of the moment.
I just want to say, to anyone out there who may accidentally over-use permethrin in pursuit of killing snake mites, like I did, PLEASE:
1) soak your snake thoroughly, for a number of hours with SMALL breaks on the first day serious symptoms are noted.
2)GET TO A HERP VET OR ANY VET that is willing to inject sub-Q fluids into your snake.
These two measures will help your snake get rid of the toxin permethrin in it's system, preventing further damage being done and allowing the body to heal before the damage becomes permanent. The snake not only drinks the water in soaks, it also absorbs water through it's skin, and releases toxins the same way. So flush the water when its's cold and get new, lukewarm water for the snake to soak in. It shouldn't be so deep thet the snake has to swim.
Ok my rant is done!!!
