@houchi69 - I think Michael was. I don't like Debbie, personally. Not sure why. I agree with you they could have picked a better bunch of "fan favs" from all Seasons of "Next Food Network Star".

Do they get paid to be on Chopped? Anyone know for sure?

I think people are too hard on Chef Alex, she's a bit harsh but at least she's not Scott Conant. I don't think she's really that bad.

I think Alex is often rude for no damn good reason. When contestants make valid points, she looks at them as if they're being totally absurd.

@radrichy I actually like Alex. She's always been my favorite. She's never too harsh, she's just good at what she does.

I am a fan of Food Network Star, and from seasons 1-6, season 2 was the best, and season 3 was the worst, and for this competition, I felt that they should have had the winners from seasons 2, 4, 5, & 6 compete: Guy, Aaron, Melissa, and Aarti.
