Day 23 - Zion Narrows

After Angel's Landing we drove up the road until it ended at the headwaters of the Virgin River. This area is called the narrows because the cliff faces are only a few yards apart at this point of the canyon. During warmer months you can hike right up the center of the river to the hollowed alcoves of the narrows, but due to the frigid water we bypassed this little hike in favor of sunning ourselves in the middle of a big boulder around which the river gurgled.

I was in Zion last year, it was fun, especially the narrows! BTW, you are a lucky guy with that Very attractive lady!

Wish we could have done the narrows but it was too cold when we were there. I do feel lucky.
