This is a clip from the first few minutes of the classic late 80's TV show Crime Story premiere show. Major Crimes Unit (MCU) boss Lt. Mike Torello defines his character and that of all tough cops for all time with the line that begins, "Hey you. . . " This comes at the end of the clip, but you need the first part to put it all into context.

  • @sr71ablackbird: The show's bad guy, Ray Luca (Anthony Denison), was sent to Vegas to expand the Chicago mob's casino interests. Soon after,Torello and his unit accepted an offer to become a special federal organised crime strike force created to stamp out criminal activities in Las Vegas. I think the venue was moved to Vegas to spice up the story line with the more glamorous backdrop, but that's just my guess; more story-line opportunities in Vegas.

  • The series actually started in Chicago and then it changed venue to Vegas.

  • Dennis Farina was a Chicago PD Detective prior to taking this role. True fact.
