  • I have the privilege of training martial arts under his brother!

  • Thank you for this wonderful profile of Fred Strickler. I had the priviledge of studying tap with Fred at UCR in the 1980's. He is fabulous on so many levels: dancer, teacher constructive critic and friendly reviewer. My time of study with him yielded some of my fondest college memories. I'll always be a fan.

  • Dear Fred

That is exactly how I feel about being a tap dancer. The privilege. The passion for the art form.

The sharing of years of relentless devotion to my mentor and dance partner Jimmy Slyde.

The teaching of American tap dancing to and the forming of hundreds of French and American tap dancers. The wish to be remembered of having taught and learned from wonderful students.

Much love and continuation. I continue to teach and perform.
