BJJ Sensation Maryanne Mullay fights Muay Thai in Thailand

BJJ Purple Belt Maryanne Mullay is an accomplished grappler. Gold medal 2007 BJJ Mundails. Silver medal 2008 BJJ Mundails.

Maryanne is looking to eventually compete in MMA and headed to Phuket Thailand to train Authentic Muay Thai with team MMA Thailand. Maryanne had never trained striking prior to arriving at Tiger Muay Thai and spent 5 weeks focusing on her technique with Kru Nazee.

Making her debut against a Thai fighter with a 1-1 record. Maryanne quickly displayed her aggressiveness and her opponent cowered. After all of her training efforts, Maryanne took home a disappointing first round victory against an outclassed opponent. Looking to gain more from her ring experience Maryanne will be facing a more experienced Thai fighter during her next training trip with MMA Phuket.
