i might get this car a used one from my grandpa how much do you think it would cost for new interior, paint job, alarm system?

for new full interior it would be around 600 bucks, a decent paint job with body work would probably run around 1500 total, and alarm a couple hundred bucks if you did it yourself.....so total around 2500 or so.

Hate to call you out but how are you makin 530 and putting it through a t-5 and beating it and not breaking it. Something is missing, either it is considerably less than 530, or you have bicycle tires on the rear. I mean it is a light car but come one, i've broken a t-5 going in to second, not flat-footing it, with maybe 450 in a 2700 pound car with a 255 on the rear. Very little traction, extremely light car, less power.

second gear is pretty much completely gone now.....plus the clutch was slipping and whenever it did grab it would just spin the hell out of the tires. i since put in a stage 3+ spec in it and have yet to break in the clutch. trust me its GOING to go out.

He didnt say on the right, right as in correct-the steering wheel should be mounted so the spokes are horizontal rather than verticle-(cool car tho-ive got a 65 coupe w/ a built 289) keep up the good work

Nah I don't think it would work with the TKO. I think Pro 5.0 might make one for it by now. Parts are expensive, and the economy sucks, no thanks to this corrupt government. By the way, Vote RON PAUL 2012.

the 67' & 68' were my fav mustangs,closely followed by the 69-70.I never did care for the 65 style.I'm curious,were the 67-68 era coupes lighter than fastbacks? The old man behind me sold his 289 67 coupe for $600 just a few yrs back...it was a steal,in great original condition.My friend bought it,then promptly totalled it..what a shame.
