If you listen carefully - Christopher Hitchens says nothing of relevent important as to the stated topic... He is babling sentences to win favour of the crowd..

Tarik ramadan is the best

Ramadan lost, in his very first sentence. Everyone (including him) seems to have missed the point that if Muslims are actually recognizing and following the existence and will of this being they call Allah, then Allah would be the authority. Is this not right? For a Muslim to say that there is a crisis of authority in Islam is to say that their god is either non-existant or irrelevant.

No need for a debate, the answer is clearly "no".

@PurPLehAZe878 That's fine. You go to bed. Sleep well.

@356pla LOL. You actually bit into it quite nicely. If you actually knew anything about modern global politics... ahh fuck it. This is like talking about Calculus with a 4 year old. Good night.

@PurPLehAZe878 That's right my friend. The failures of the states under sharia is the fault of my family. Actually I think more my mothers than my dads. Ask your God to reveal the truth so the rest of us can hear it from your blessed lips. Welcome to the madhouse fool.

@356pla I don't have to convince myself of anything to know the truth. I know of our history. Do you know yours? I can bet my life on the fact that I will do more for this world and its people then you or your whole family has done in its entirety (inshAllah). That's why I live in the West, because I have come to show you and your ignorant brethren what Islam allows it's believers to accomplish. Go one, I've laid the bait. Take it.
-
@PurPLehAZe878 You keep telling yourself that it's someone elses fault. That's gonna help a lot.

@tylerdurden4495 1400 years of barbarisms? have you ever read history? Do you not know that your ancestors were living in straw huts and praying to stone deities while the Muslim world had the best universities, the best medicine, the best astronomy, the best mathematics, etc, the world had seen at that time? Islamic world has fallen in tough times, not because of our religion, its because of the collective stifling of our economies by westerns countries and corporations.
Islam is very backward and arrogant.
