SHORT DOCUMENTARY: Visit to The Michael Jackson Gary, Indiana Birthplace.

No, he's not Christ, and never claimed to be, ..., but his death stopped global news. He is responsible for 'slowing' the Internet. Our President and WORLD leaders verbalized praise. Congress had a moment of silence. Friday, he was on the FRONT of every newspaper. He sold nearly a billion albums. People reacted in ALL occupied nations AND in Iran, China & Pakistan, and STOPPED fighting (for a little while). He was the MOST recognized living figure on Earth. This is my report from Gary, IND 6/26/09, where I took the family less that 24 hours after Jackson's death. Besides various satellite trucks, hundreds of people were at 2300 Jackson St. blocked to traffic, and we stayed till dusk. It was a museum/memorial atmosphere... some reflecting, some snapping cell phone pics, others lighting candles. The family loved it, and I obtained an interview with the Mayor (great guy!). Our kids now understand a GREAT black man w/unprecedented global influence has died. No comments necessary, it's simply a family trip to a new internationally historical site.
