I would have preferred at least another week or two to practice this one, but for some reason I was feeling the need to post it. Apologies to any Jack Rose fans for mangling the middle sections.

  • do you know how many fingers jack uses to play this? are you using just two?

  • @gnarrwhale - Mostly I'm using two, but in a few places I use my middle finger--for instance, around 1:20 for that minor melodic triad stuff. As far as I know, that's inherited directly from Fahey's pseudo-Travis picking style.

    Also, my newer version of this is better. I think you can see my fingers more clearly in that one, too.
