You don't know what your talking about dude, the kinetic energy is directly proportional to its velocity, and the bullet is loosing velocity(though its small) to friction the second it is fired.

The bullet isn't some sort of rocket to propel itself, it has maximum energy the second it leaves the gun.

And now you're making sweeping generalizations. Let me counter with a few. Americans actually donate a lot of old stuff and money to charities that affect poor neighborhoods. Politicians do care about education, but very few of them can agree at once to change specifics. And America is not a militarily superior country, Israel is better armed than us, we're afraid of crazies with nukes, and China's a badass, but we're in a Cold War situation with them economically instead of with nukes.

No, that is not the only way to solve this. You should recognize that, you definitely type like a very well educated person. But, you are forgetting the Machine Gun act of 198(4?) and the NFA which started back in the 1920's or 30's under the Depression. People feared machine guns because the gangsters used them limitedly and they were publicized widely. People feared silencers because they though the guy next door would kill their sheep. SBSs and SBRs were included because of concealability.
