@pigsbishop99 As opposed to the system at present where parents can only choose between what is now sub-standard education at state school (no offence intended) or to pay an arm and leg to send them to some poncy private school? Whats wrong with selecting students based on ability?

the enphisis will be on the parents to take more of an interest in their kids edu and not just to leave it to others. regardless of their own level they can make a difference.
