  • @Synergistik What do think the alternatives are? Why is science a trap? Most sciencist dedicate there lives to the truth. All I was implying was that there are many other people out there seeking the truth.

  • @Chronosthanatos Did I say we were the only people after timeless truths? My highlighting the pursuits of Muslims doesn't necessarily imply the negation of others. I'm very inquisitive as to your definition of "real science" (becareful, it's trap!). What are the alternatives?

    Cheers

  • @Synergistik So you really think your the ONLY people after timeless truths? Have you heard of anyother faiths or real science? Hmmm that and of course democrazy can be a bit sketchy but it is far better then the alternatives.

  • @Chronosthanatos The majority rules...but minorities while small in percentages, can be large in numbers. Democracy is sketchy, as it is limited by the limited perceptions of human beings, which can not, and refuse to, think beyond their own reality. Muslims demand more. Muslims demand unshakable, unifying, timeless truths. It is these and only these which stand the test of time, and propagate us forward through history.

  • @Chronosthanatos Indeed that's the mantra of democracy. But who still buys that? Democracy leaves the decisions to those who have the most power to sway civilian sentiment. And democratic leadership is usually a game of pleasing those who put you in power, which isn't the masses.

  • @Synergistik No your both wrong, need does not always equal good, Humans can be trusted to control themselves and legislate themselves as well. Remmber the world is not always seen in the same way, by ruleing in a democrazy you statsify the needs of the many, such that you can define the best system for the greatest number of views.

That and this peice is not good, many issues are express are wrong. Not all human beings have a need to be married. You confusing issues.

  • so it is.

  • He's coming to it from a different path. These things are best discussed in person or on the phone.

  • great, but tell that to 12235117657598502586 above, who thinks sharia laws are problematic for people, and that people cannot be trusted to control themselves.

  • We are also created with the tendency to follow the "natural" way that a human must live. The difference is that we choose to do so, and can achieve excellence with it. We are created that way, but can also choose to not live like that, cultivating an existence that can, in fact, be worst than animals.

Our path is more complicated. Guidance knowledge comes from God, via messengers, to helps us realize the reality of ourselves and our existence.
