  • I love how the geeks were so uncomfortable having a cute girl like her interview them

  • "Augmented Reality is where you have a special symbol that a computer can recognize, so the computer can superimpose images onto."

No, THAT is a cheap augmented reality 'shortcut'. Markers suck.

Augmented Reality is better defined as any situation where a computer is augmenting our view of reality, overlaying things in a realistic way, to combined virtual and real reality.

The goal here should really be to eliminate markers entirely. Otherwise it's not realistic, and not mass marketable.

  • competition sucks its about cooperation

  • i would make a symbol "shortcut" to a game on this card and play a game in school XD

  • there like "ggggggirl!"

  • You have to take into consideration who the targetted audience is, i'm sure he'd use different vocabulary if he was speaking to you for example. I think AR is something up to the community to develop before organisations really knows what to do with it. Like how PCs came to be. =]

  • But markers could have fun uses, like in a augmented world rpg, you stick your code onto something and bam you have a what ever you want added to the augment it would, it could be like a quest point or just some grafitee, what ever you want.

The programmer of this new reality have to be local to what they want to change in order to change it. Sure removing the markers would be an improvement but why must it be one or the other. Choice is always great.

  • wow this would be kinda cool i guess if your bored in class and the teachers out of the room

  • cute? lol

    her toes might be cute.....

but overall she goes far above cute!

  • Some of us geeks be good with girls! *pops non-existant collar* Damn! I popped a pimple as well!
