9mm vs 45 ACP: The debate continues

I rant about the endless debate as to which is better, 9mm or 45. I know many of you are tiring of hearing about 9mm vs. 45 ACP but I figured I would throw my $.02 into the debate. In the end, use what works for you and ignore the internet commandos who claim one is vastly superior to the other.

The only time when I saw a bullet knock down someone, it was confiscated footage of enemy marksman taking aim at Army personel and the projectile struck his ballistic plate in his body armor "knocking" him down. If it went rought through him, he'd just drop due to tramaj.

@MavHunter20XX Visit our discussion board and in the general discussion area I posted a thread with a video showing a man being shot from about a foot away with a .308 FAL. He is wearing a strike plate and vest, the bullet stops instantly. He's standing on one leg when the round hits and he doesn't move. Militaryarmschannel*com

I agree with him. But not on The Ball Round issue at least with 9 mm.. My Freind Shot some BAD GUY in The middle east with a M9 Beretta 9 TIMES CENTER MASS AND IT DID NOT STOP HIM FROM TURNING HIS AK 47 AT HIM BUT BEFORE HE COULD SHOOT, HIS FREIND SHOT THE GUY IN THE HEAD WITH AN M4.. HOLLOW POINTS WITH 9 mm ONLY!!!!

@MrGta12367 yea a 500 S&W is a heavy round that has some speed coming out of the barrel, but do you realy think it can match a 12 guage shotgun with a 3 inch Mag shell firing a 1 1/4 oz. slug at 1600 fps at ranges that exceed the "Standard" shooting envelope of handguns.

I love this video. Ive sent it to a bunch of people. I know a guy who tries to bait me in to this argument every time i see him. Ive alway thought it was a goofy argument. So i appreciate it. O and i own a few 9mm and a 1911. The 1911 is my prefered but mainly because thats what im best with and the most comfortable with.

good video..i concur..for me its the 40 cal but as long as you can hit what you aim at is the bottom line..
