Here Today and Gone Tomorrow. That's the Motto of Millions Who Follow the Sun With a Home on Wheels. Only these RVers were doing in back in 1935 when a site in a Florida trailer resort cost one dollar a week with an extra twenty-five cents for electricity! Visit http://Trailerite.com and celebrate the History of RVing.

  • This is where my grandparents started our long family tradition of RVing. I love the old footage.

  • Wow how the vehicles/RV's have changed but the reason for owning one remains the same! Great video!

  • in 73 my dad bought a new 15' scotty for 2200.00 with all the options. We all had fun camping and he towed with it a 67 ford country squire wagon

  • An $8,000 trailer in 1935 would be the equivalent of around $123,000.00 in today's dollars. I love these little old films, thanks!

  • OH GREAT! I wish to use this on our page... Thanks...
