k6fq- stick with something you know about... drinking beer and shooting tin cans... or whatever you and your tin-eared buddies do after work. Santana, Steve Vaughn,( both toured with him )Tina Turner,Mick Jagger,John McLaughlin ( you never heard of him) Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder,BB King,Roger Waters, Les Paul ,and myriad other greats who have played with him think he's pretty good.Pearls before swine.

@stefan66812 What you do is listen to the recording. Make sure your bass is in tune with the recording. Listen to what the bass is doing on the recording, and then try to play it back. Start small. Hit the "stop" button after just a few notes. At first, you might need to hit the "stop" button after every note. But you'll get it. After you figure out 100 songs, it gets easier.

My new favorite musical ensemble. I have already burned out the Ronnie Scott Blu Ray & CD. I always knew Beck was a genius, especially after Blow by Blow. What has happened to the music industry? We were teenagers absorbing this stuff! We tried to play the songs ourselves! Now, it is all about the scandals, glamour, the beauty & private lifestyles of the "musicians". Tal Wilkenfeld could easily exploit her Goddess like looks & play to another audience. Instead: no makeup, t-shirt, baggy jeans.
