This started out as a recruiting video but turned into a dedication to two of my friends who had to drop out of CAP. Jamie Marrs, who moved too Texas, and Adam Goswick, who is moving too Ohio.
the song is Citizan soldiers by three doors down. I think the song fits CAP because they are the real citizan soldiers. A little history on CAP, the civil air patrol was founded on Dec. 1, 1941, Six days before Peal Harbor, as coastal patrols and search and resuce of U.S. tankers attacked by German U-boats. Druing the war CAP found 173 U-boats, attacked 57, hit 11, and sank two. A German commander confirmed that U-boat operations were withdrawn from the U.S. east coast "Because of those damned little red and yellow airplanes". Now CAP has three missons Cadet program, areospace ED, and eServices.

@paintballer921 Technically, yes. Civil Air Patrol is the United States Air Force Auxiliary. However, C.A.P. members are not service members of the Air Force, just volunteers.

@soundersfan90 I hate to burst your bubble, but CAP is the Air Force Auxilliary. Keywords Air Force!!! do some research next time

@paintballer921 No it's not. Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and the Coast Guard are military. I hate to burst your bubble.

In your description you wrote how CAP is the real citizen soldiers. I'm pretty sure that would go to the actual Reserve soldiers.

I like Civil Air Patrol! I went to encampment last summer it was tough though... and our commander is boring... What squadron did your friend in Texas transfer to???
