Yeah, I totally agree.
Considering Odo can presumably live a long longer than humans... why the hell wouldn't he wait until later to rejoin and Great Link?? Seriously?
In fact the story shouldn't have ended where it did... as Sisko has to return. I really think they should make another series... or at least a mini-series to tie up all those loose ends...

@Loopysquish Yeah I thought that end was rotten to for Odo and Kira. Okay he had to cure them and letting them know his experience trusting humans is a good move, but if they know so much by linking and even become what they shape shift into that shouldn't take forever.
