  • Yeah I got frustrated at work and started to play again, (hadn't in 30 years), then got diagnosed with cancer and decided to take getting better more seriously. I have to ask, what is that drum in front of your kick? Never seen that before.

  • @oneolddrummer That is a yamaha sub kick. it's actually a microphone that works in conjunction with the regular kick mic. It helps to pick up some of the bottom end tones that the regular mic doesn't get. kinda gives it a little more "boom" if you will.

  • @Joey7042 Thank you for the comment. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what you mean exactly. You should have some kind of adjustment / tilt / stabalizing screw with the balancing plate the bottom hat sits on. Perhaps you need a new or different hi hat stand?? Hard to explain without seeing it. Sorry I couldnt be more help

  • Cymbals sound great what are you using to record with? I record covers straight into a Zoomq3 it's only a cover on youtube.Although on my collabs I use a tascam 1641 or protools depending on time.Anyway your cymbals sound great keep up the cool tunes aahooh lord!!!! I might have to do a Steve Miller cover haha. hmmm.....good idea!
