Fly Me To The Moon - NSHS Jazz 1 Ensemble Fall Concert

This is the Newman Smith High School Jazz I Ensemble at the '07 fall concert. This second song is called Fly Me To The Moon arranged by Sammy Nestico which features Brandon Bateman on Alto Saxophone. Steven Schrag, our piano player, auditioned and made the All State Jazz Band. We are all proud of him.

Very nice! Great sound overall and intonation is quite good. Gotta be careful not to let the tempo rush on a slow swinger like this. Usually happens when the kicks are a little early. lay back and relax the time!
