Sound sample of an unusual antique German Violin. The piece is the famous Kreutzer Etude No. 1 (From 42 Etudes book). It was played by Itzhak Perlman on Sesame Street years ago. I played it a little fast just for fun.

  • out of all the violins you have played on, which do u think sounds the best?

  • @KwonJiyong33 -- we're very lucky to have played on hundreds of wonderful old violins and i can't say that i have an absolute favorite. each has its own personality and flavor.

  • Dude that etude is hard at a fast tempo :< congrats man that was awesome XD I was like on the edge of my seat when you started shifting going up then down... I hate that part..
