I have never seen such a masterful, systematic, and merciless dismantling of the idiotic idea of libertarianism in my life.
Little Billy in this video sounds like someone who hates the labels usually used by politicians, listened to one too many Ron Paul videos, and never actually bothered to think about or look up any of the nonsense he's parroting to see if it makes a lick of sense.
Without government oversight, you would have to sit at home on a pile of your stuff with a gun 24/7. Idiot.

I've yet to meet a single Libertarian who wasn't born into a rich or upper middle class family and never had to worry about anything significant in their lives.

My arguments against socialism is not that it might not work in certain situations, but that it is unethical or immoral. There are also good examples of slavery working and societies having great progress with slavery, but in the end it is wrong to steal the life of another human being for the welfare of another.

Do you mean like social security and medicare? Two social programs that have been downright successful. I remember the idiot "Tea Bagger" on the news holding up a sign that said "keep the government out of my medicare." For the 50 years, libertarians shave been saying social security is falling apart.. And their prophecy is always right around the corner. And most red states are socialist, they take more money from the Fed than they pay in. You're probably just another hypocrite like them.

The real thing that limits the creation of new products is patent law. If a patent lasts for decades and the lawyers guard them like hawks with a permanent I'm-gonna-fuck-up-your-shit disposition, nobody would dare to research anything close to that patent, if they ever want to make a more efficient, cheaper or better version of such.
And these days patent-owners aren't necessarily the people who came up with them. Patents no longer shield their inventors, but are a commodity to be sold.

Mandating certain properties for products (with a certain margin) usually creates a niche where other interests (or even publicly owned industry) can put effort in and receive profit from.
E.g. with fire alarms the state can demand how many need to be in a certain sized space, where to place them, volume emitted, etc. But these did not become universally required before they became cheap to make.
There's plenty of consumer choice and state agencies review them at a regular pace.

Writing laws, rules and regulations is the government's job. And of course they cannot mandate the use or ownership of something that does not exist, but they can commission or contract the research for a suitable product or service and then mandate it if found satisfactory (enough).
But for a government to mandate a specific product or a specific industry is a sign of that government being subverted by private interests.

Wait I know this one! 1 - Social programs don't work. 2 - Socialism is unethical as is slavery. And 3 - Communism is downright evil. We essentially have a mixed economy in the US and it has shades of socialism, social programs and certain aspects of a free market. Dudev sounds like a commie name.

Kudos for using many words to say absolutely nothing of value. You've joined the club of ignorant American trash who don't understand the difference between social programs, socialism, and communism. But that describes almost every libertarian loud mouth on the internet. You fail.
