@MDF12 I'm a Muslim, and people say that my religion is against gay people, and gay marriage. But I don't really care. I can't hate someone just because he is different. This is about LOVE. Portia and Ellen are the best example of love, and they are my role models, how can I hate them for being different. I support gay people, I support gay marriage, and I hope that one day we'll have as much love as these people have in their hearts to understand that you don't love a gender, you love a person.

@oddtreenow2 ellen doesnt wear dresses, that doesnt make her manly, shes a very kind compassionaye sweet person which are all female traits, shes also very openly loving, and besides the trouser looks extremely feminine, and as far as saying portia isnt a lesbian maybe you should read unbearable lightness, it is also very clear that they are totally in love so it shouldnt really matter what either of them look like

@oddtreenow2 I think it's great that you can express your opinion. However I'm not sure that you understand how complex attraction is. It's about more than someones hair and clothing. It's about shared life experiences, understanding each other, and you seem to be forgetting about the whole physiological element of being gay: the plain fact that your body responds differently to women than men, and no matter what typical gender stereotypes Ellen gets categorised in, she is a woman.
