Adding Color

After the spin cast production process, the painstaking process of adding color begins for some orders. As you will note in the video, each color is mixed by hand to get the correct color - color mixing charges apply for custom colors. Next, the colors are carefully added one at a time, with a drying time in between each color.

In order for color to be added, there must be 'walled off' areas into which the color can flow and be contained. In the black and white artwork, color filling can usually happen in the white areas, only if the white area is completely surrounded by black areas.
