An extremely bad witness. It's like me walking into a bar after I fell to my knees to the LORD, saying I thought I could quit drinking but I couldn't. After that night, I never thought about it but made a vow I would never play or be in a bar again. I have kept it, I don't know how long it's been because I'm not an alcoholic.

Exactly, preaching to the congregation on Sunday morning is a pretty fruitless endeavor. On the other hand, equipping that congregation is another story entirely.

On the other hand if he presents the Gospel in those bars, then he is doing just as Jesus did who associated with prostitutes and tax collectors, finding them far more tolerable than the religious leaders of that day. I believe that Derringer's faith is real.
