Reinstalling and/or Upgrading WordPress via FTP

If you've ever completely broken your WordPress site by somehow editing or deleting a core file, or if you need to make absolutely sure you've got a clean WordPress install, reinstalling via FTP should be your plan of action.

I had the same problem as you and needed to upgrade wordpress and had an error but what I did was I did a partial backup where I download my mysql and my home directory. I Had deleted mysql database and tried to upload it the same way you thought it in the video but it's not working, I cannot lose my site the way it was is there anything you can suggest. Tnx
