how are those bolts and washers not conductive? they sure look metal to me.

Good video and did a combo of this and the heat gun trick to recover from the red ring of death. Actually used a single spring washer between motherboard and heat sinks, and covered a washer in insulating tape between bolt head and motherboard on back to ensure no short circuits. Worked great, and spring washer makes sure tension is kept up, now had it on for 5 hours and working fine, cheers!

if you have a problem keeping the washers in place use tooth picks too keep in place worked for me

i did this and it worked great for a week or so then it froze up and got it again someone please help!!!!
