@ChucklesJack In principle, you're correct. However, the primary issue with this train of thought is the assumption that even a moderately skilled opponent is incapable of creating openings of their own. This is a very coordinated motion; throw one thing out of sync and you screw the whole thing up. If you did this against an opponent, all they'd have to do is parry one sword to destroy your rhythm and you'd likely end up cutting off a hand, arm, or even leg.

This technique looks like it would be used to confuse an opponent, especially since there isn't a very long opening for them to attack while you're doing that.

i have always thought that 2 swords are better than one,but you must have a lot of mastery using a single sword before using 2..
ive always dreamed to be a master of dual swords :)
